Campaign to solve an outdated accounting issue, imposed on Arizona cities and towns including Lake Havasu City. A formula was adopted in 1980, based on 1979 data, that determines the amount of money that can be used to fund city services each year, regardless of the money the city collects. Lake Havasu City has changed drastically since 1979 and on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 the registered voters in Lake Havasu City successfully voted to permanently adjust its base limit by $5 million.
